Welcome to Kelly's
Kelly’s Of Saltash started in December 1997 to bring a quality Fish & Chip Restaurant/Takeaway operation in a relaxed family atmosphere to Saltash. In addition to fish & chips, we do breakfasts, snacks, and several varieties of meals. The company has long term goals to improve further and to expand to give Saltash a truly unique culinary experience.
Since then, the company has won twenty awards for quality & hygiene. We have won the Seafish National Quality Award for four consecutive years and reached the Regional Finals of the Fish & Chip Shop of the Year for 2003/04.
We have also been recommended for safe food award by the Environmental Health Service for the standards that we keep.
Our fish comes exclusively from Iceland, Norway or Russia and is cooked to a unique recipe. Potatoes are sourced locally.
Our dedicated charity is the Royal National Mission for Deep Sea Fishermen and we recently raised £744.33 on their behalf by raffles and various offers. In the last two and a half years, we have raised nearly £2000 for them.

Kelly's Of Saltash is celebrating National Chip Week by giving their customers the chance to scratch and win!
The nation will be going chip crazy once again to celebrate National Chip Week (11-17 February 2008) as it hits its 17th year. Kelly’s of Saltash is joining in the National Chip Week celebrations by giving its customers the chance to scratch and win some great prizes.
Customers who pop in for a portion of delicious chips during National Chip Week will also be in with a chance to win. Prizes on offer, as part of the British Potato Council’s National Chip Week promotion, are romantic weekend breaks, a limited edition National Chip Week ‘Saucy Chip Set’ or even a free portion of tasty chips!
Louise Percy, the chip shop owner said “We hope all our customers will be joining in the National Chip Week celebrations by visiting the shop to enjoy a delicious portion of chips. If the thought of tucking into a portion of chips is not enough incentive, then there is also the chance for them to win some great prizes!”
Did you know, chips can be eaten as part of a healthy balanced diet. For example:
· A portion of fish and chips contains 20% less fat than a 12” cheese and tomato pizza.
· A cheese and pickle sandwich contains twice as much fat as a portion of chip shop chips.
Or that:
· 1 out of every 4 British potatoes are made into chips – that’s approximately 1 ¼ million tonnes every year.
· It would take an area the size of 56,000 Wembley Stadium football pitches to grow all the potatoes needed for the chips consumed in Great Britain each year.
